سعادة السيد رئيس مجلس حقوق الانسان
السيدات والسادة ممثلو الدول الاعضاء في المجلس الموقر .
تحية طيبة وبعد
يرحب حزب الأمة القومي السوداني بعقد الجلسة الطارئة في وقت تشتد فيه حدة القتال بين الطرفين في المناطق المأهولة بالسكان المدنيين الذين تعرضوا للقصف بالطائرات الحربية وضربات المضادات الارضية واستخدام اسلحة قابلة للانفجار والدمار مما زاد من حجم الخسائر البشرية والمادية .
وتعرضت جراء حدة الاشتباكات، البني التحتية الاساسية للدمار مما ادى لحرمان السكان من المياه والكهرباء . ولعديد من المنشأت والمراكز الصحية للتدمير والخروج من الخدمة. وتعرضت منازل وممتلكات المدنيين ومحالهم التجارية ومصانعهم للدمار واعمال النهب والسلب التي طالت كذلك بعض البنوك والمؤسسات العامة.
يتطلع الشعب السوداني وهو يواجه هذه المحنة وتداعياتها الخطيرة الى ان يصدر المجلس الموقر قرارا:
1. يطالب الطرفين بالوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار والدخول في مفاوضات تهدف للحل السلمي للازمة.
2. تمديد ولاية الخبير المستقل ودعم مكتب حقوق الانسان الموجود بالبعثة المتكاملة لدعم عملية السلام (يونيتامس)
3. ادانة من ارتكبوا الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي والقانون الدولي لحقوق الانسان.
إن الشعب السوداني يتطلع أن تدعم الدول الشقيقة والصديقة هذه المطالب في الجلسة الطارئة غدا الخميس 11 مايو ، و إلى تضامن الشعوب المحبة للسلام والعدالة في الدعوة للوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار وفتح الممرات الآمنة لإغاثة السكان المدنيين الذي يعيشون في ظروف في غاية الصعوبة والمعاناة.

His Excellency, the Human Rights Council
President
Ladies and gentlemen of the highly regarded Council.
Greetings,
The Sudanese National Umma Party acknowledges the emergency session’s meeting at a time when fighting between the two parties continues to escalate in areas populated by civilians who have been attacked by warplanes, anti-aircraft strikes, and the use of explosive and devastating weapons, that result in larger human and property losses.
Due to the scale of the clashes, the basic infrastructure collapsed, cutting off the water and electricity. In addition a numerous healthcare centres have been demolish and left inaccessible. Civilians’ residences and properties, and even their shops and factories, were robbed and stolen and some banks and government entities were also looted.
While facing this terrible situation and its potential catastrophic effects, the Sudanese people are looking for a resolution from the esteemed Council:
1. Demands both sides to cease fire immediately and join negotiations with the objective of resolving the crisis peacefully.
2. Furthering the independent expert’s mandate and aiding the Human Rights Office in the The United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS).
3. Condemning individuals who have committed severe violations of international humanitarian and human rights law.
The Sudanese people look forward to the solidarity of peace-loving and justice-loving peoples in calling for an immediate cease-fire and the opening of safe passageways to provide relief to the civilian population living in extremely difficult and terrifying circumstances.
